| Outstanding quality landscaping timbers – guaranteed!
Manufactured from carefully selected timbers from well managed, renewable forests with full FSC accreditation, M&M Timber produce an extensive range of innovative machine rounded and half rounded Unilog and UniPro Landscaping timbers, chosen for their high performance in a diverse range of larger and commercial landscaping applications, including the creation of earth retaining walls and water revetment projects.
All Unilog & UniPro timbers are kiln dried, to 28% moisture content, prior to pressure treatment with MicroPro, the most advanced wood preservation system available in the world today, which has been recognised as an ‘environmentally preferred product' by the International Standards Accreditation body Scientific Certification Systems in the United States of America.
Treated to BS8417, all our Micronized Landscaping Timbers timbers carry a full 15 year ‘service life' guarantee against rot, fungal decay and attack from wood boring insects.
Once machine rounded Unilog and UniPro Timbers can be cut or chamfered, with a wide range of machining options also available, should you require bespoke machining, please call our sales and technical staff to discuss your requirements.
Playguard Landscaping Timbers are manufactured from either Radiata Pine or Home Grown Pine and undergo the same MicroPro preservation treatment as our UniPro range. Playguard Radiata Timbers minimise the risk of splinters, and are less likely to produce hazardous ‘finger trap' air cracks, during the natural drying process. These qualities make Micronized UniPro timbers ideal for landscaping projects in schools, where safety is paramount, or any project where minimal cracking is an aesthetic requirement.
In instances where UniPro Micronized Landscaping Timbers require cutting, it is recommended that cut surfaces should be re-treated with a suitable preservative.
As a natural product, all timber is subject to some checking during the drying process.
This checking should not affect the integrity of the timber or the guarantee.
